Hello Errreeeebodeee!
Welcome to my new mini-series:
Diary Comics — Throwback Edition!
From 2017-2018 I made these recurring diary comics in a Moleskine and colored them all with colored pencil and lots of feelings.
^I made this lil video back in 2017 when I was still working on them.
Way, way back— before the dawn of time— in 2017/18 I was tabling at a lot of comic conventions.
I made and sold self-published stories, diary comics, stickers, pins, and prints.
I can’t say I really “knew what I was doing” I was just following my desire to make comics and tell stories.
I was discovering new artists online and mostly just copying what I saw they were doing.
^At SFZF (San Francisco Zine Fest), which I tabled at every year for 5 years or so.
^Tabling at CALA (Comic Arts Los Angeles) in 2019.
These comics below are the very first comics I made in this series.
I don’t really know what inspired me to start making them, but as time went on I got increasingly creative with the format and really enjoyed how colorful I was able to make them.
These four pages all revolve around getting ready for Silicon Valley Comic Con.

I really like these! I can't look at the screen very long but this was nice to see briefly
Loved seeing you flip through the pages of that notebook- your drawings are so neat! Do you draw in pencil first and then ink? Or do you directly draw with ink??
