Back in 2019, Before I had any publishing opportunities, I used to make comics just WILLY NILLY, like a free-spirited little goof.
I miss this era sometimes.
Even though I hadn’t yet been validated by the Condé Nast gods, I was making loose playful art with abandon, and it’s been hard to return to that mindset since.
This thought led me to poke around the server storage where I send my old comics to die.
I’ve come to realize that I have a lot of gems that are just gathering metaphorical dust and that is TRAGIC
(…to me).
✨Therefore I bring you✨
Hourly Comic Day 2019 —
I still love this movie so much. I miss it. Might rewatch.
I mean, Melissa McCarthy and Richard E. Grant? Say less.
Oh yes, and—
🚨Surprise Update!🚨
I have a new humor piece, “T-Shirts That Speak for the Infertile” published through The Belladonna that I made with my good bud Katy Maiolatesi. <3
Comments (Let’s Chat!):
Are you interested in my older comics like this?
Or do you thirst for fresh blood— I mean content?
(srsly, tell me)
Have you seen “Can You Ever Forgive Me?”?
Do you know of any other messy, anti-hero, female-lead stories like this you’d recommend (books, TV, movies)?
I wants it.
Give me.

I'm suddenly imaging you and other cartoonists as models for fashion mags Vogue, Conde Naste, etc ... Ha!
I like all your stuff, old and new. But for the benefit of a clueless grandma, what the heck is HCD? 🤔
