Ah yes, 2017. Three short years ago but feels like only one. Err wait, what year is it? Oh god

I get stuck in the same time-benchmarks.

It will forever be both 2020 and 2000 in my mind.

You know, like how the 70's were 30 years ago and, as you said, 2017 was 3 years ago.

It's so simple when you create your own reality!

"I woke up at a reasonable hour today and am currently awaiting my rewards." — Yes! Perfect!

The music you share: I haven't read a SFB newsletter for awhile because I way over-subscribed on Substack and couldn't keep up with any of them. On Saturday, I went through and got medieval on my subscriptions. Adios! Goodbye! Farewell! Trimmed it down to the ones I really wanted to read, such as Shit for Breakfast. SO, today I did indeed listen to the song you sent. Loved it!

Favorited Voxtrot on Spotify thanks to your recommendation. Keep 'em coming.

Matt, I am authentically so honored that you kept following Shit for Breakfast after your brutal newsletter pruning! HONORED!

I really need to reel in my subscriptions too, honestly.

I'm also additionally thrilled that you appreciate my music plugs! I don't know if anyone has ever even commented on them before?

I include them because I love sharing music, but also out of nostalgia for LiveJournal.

I used to love how LJ had a "What I'm listening to" option in their posts.

Lovely post all around, but this in particular brought me a special elevated joy:

"42069 Fart Nugget Way, Turdsylvania, CA."

It gives me hope that my tribe is out there. I'm not alone.

Lol, Substack forced me to include an address for some reason, so this is what they get... my very real home address.
