Aw, yay, thank you Ben!!! I'm starting to contemplate larger scale butt dude art, I feel like that would be so fun, but I've always drawn so small. I've always been a bit stuck in the "don't take up too much space" world, but I'm hopeful Butt Dude will help me to break through.

I loved how you described jeffery’s art as him showcasing the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to hate which I related to as well! I struggle with feeling associated with name 💀 like it doesn’t feel like it’s mine. Idk what exactly it is but yeah. And I loveeddd butt dude! The form , their actions, ever!

Thank you so much Sush!!! I'm already starting to draw more butt dude as of this post. I'm really hoping to lean to it even more and maybe find some kind of playful art style and expression with more colorsss! I'm so glad you related to Jeffrey's art and I'm so glad it sounds like you either know who you are or are growing to learn. Life is wild like that, I love discovering myself by the day and feeling progressively less stuck in some static identity. Life is too short for that shit!

How do you draw gravity??

I’d love to see draw CI cartoons...😜

I'm not the most clever with capturing gravity, but I do very much respect the talent and would love to make progress on it. I know one technique I try to think about when drawing bodies in motion is using the line-of-action.

It always helps me to find balance in my poses.

Interesting, and I've heard a little about this technique. How it works with multiple bodies...???

If you do, in fact, live in LA, perhaps 42069 Fart Nugget Way (HA!) is near Santa Monica where there's a weekly Contact jam. I've been to it a few times when down there from Seattle. Fun folks.

HAHAHA, i completely forgot I wrote that as my address.

I am in LA though! I'm not the closest to Santa Monica, but I can definitely get there. I'm going to look this up right now, thank you Christian!

These are wonderful and very evocative. They remind me of a Contact Improvisation jam, bodies in motion at play with gravity...! Are you familiar with this form? Great way to play with our watery selves.

Thanks for sharing all these posts.

Hello Christian! I am not familiar with Contact Improvisation, but I just Googled it and it looks heavenly. I really resonate with this idea and it sounds like it would scratch a very similar itch that I get through life drawing-- just finding a very authentic and intimate connection with your own body and others as well. Thank you for sharing this CI concept, the images that came up are going to 100000% inspire drawings from me. Such dynamic poses! I freaking love it!
